At Osedea, we have a unique organizational structure without formal hierarchy.  One way to step up in your career and contribute to the organization’s growth is by strengthening your leadership skills and putting them into action.

Leadership isn’t just about authority; it’s about igniting passion, harnessing potential, and fostering collaboration that propels both you and the team toward new heights. At the same time, it’s about cultivating a culture of empathy, adaptability, and resilience.

Our Elevate leadership model is inspired by our core values and draws from the 5E leadership framework. Below, we’ll walk you through the model in detail.

The Elevate leadership model

Leading self

Great leadership starts with consistently performing with excellence in any situation—that's the first pillar of our leadership approach. Without action, ideas remain just ideas.Leading yourself means mastering what you do and handling changes with confidence.

Operating with excellence

Focus on results

Embrace a proactive mindset by diving into action, with end results in mind. Prioritize what matters most, channel your energy effectively, and ensure that every task counts. It's about using time wisely, planning carefully, and turning aspirations into reality.

Accountability

Think of accountability as being the CEO of your own actions. Take charge, deliver results with enthusiasm, and keep everyone informed of your progress. You’re not just managing tasks—you’re owning them.

Effective verbal and written communication

Being a fantastic communicator is about expressing your thoughts clearly and professionally. Whether it's an email or a report, strive for simplicity, organization, and precision to ensure your message is understood.

Adaptability & ambiguity management

Resilience and stress management

Resilience is the ability to bounce back stronger from challenges. It’s about turning adversity into an opportunity for growth. Leaders who manage stress well not only ensure difficulties but also emerge wiser and more empowered, setting the tone for the team.

Flexibility and versatility

Flexibility isn’t just about adapting to changes—it’s about handling diverse situations with agility and ease. Great leaders quickly assess new circumstances and adjust their approach to meet the demands of each moment, becoming the go-to person for navigating complexity.

Receiving feedback

Welcoming feedback is essential for continuous improvement. Embrace feedback with an open mind, listening actively to grasp different perspectives (without taking it personally). Be the driving force for a culture that constantly evolves, promoting growth for both yourself and the entire organization—because in this exchange, feedback isn't just information; it's the engine powering us toward excellence.

Leading others

Effective leadership goes beyond personal excellence—it’s about empowering others, building strong relationships, and fostering collaboration. This pillar focuses on motivating the team to reach its full potential, even in challenging times.

Building collaborative relationships

Collaborating effectively

True collaboration means working enthusiastically with team members and partners toward shared goals. It requires clear communication, active participation, and a willingness to contribute to the team’s efforts. Effective leaders create an environment where cooperation is the norm, not the exception.

Being inclusive and respecting others

Leadership is about creating a space where everyone feels valued. Inclusive leaders welcome diverse perspectives, recognize individual strengths, and treat others with empathy and respect everyone's abilities. It's about creating a positive and considerate space for everyone.

Managing conflicts

Conflicts are inevitable in any workplace, but leaders approach them constructively. Managing conflicts with emotional intelligence means addressing disagreements professionally, fostering mutual understanding, and turning tension into an opportunity for growth and collaboration.

Partnering externally and building networks

When partnering externally, our goal is to create collaborations that benefit all parties involved, finding common ground for mutually rewarding solutions. By cultivating meaningful relationships, leaders create opportunities for shared growth and collective success.

Building capabilities

Inspiring and motivating others

Leadership isn’t just about having a vision—it's about creating one that others want to support. Lead by example, inspire, and empower your team. In our workplace, positivity and high morale are key to motivating everyone to make meaningful steps towards success.

Developing others

Spark a fire for learning and growth. Share your experiences, skills, and wisdom to help others grow. As a leader, act as a coach and mentor to elevate the team’s competence. Make each day an opportunity to improve together and create a culture where learning is continuous.

Empathy

Empathy goes beyond understanding; it's about feeling and sharing the perspectives of colleagues, clients, and partners. By practicing empathy, leaders create a supportive and collaborative space where people feel valued and understood.

Giving feedback

Giving feedback is crucial to helping others grow. Focus on being clear and specific, addressing actions, behaviours, or outcomes, and offering practical advice for improvement. Maintain a supportive tone, considering the recipient’s feelings, and always aim to provide feedback that’s specific, actionable, and aimed at fostering improvement.

Leading ideas

It's not just about thinking strategically; it's about weaving innovation into our vision and shaping the future. Imagine ideas bubbling up from every corner of our team. Leading your own ideas becomes a key stepping stone in your leadership journey. Here, we're shaping the future, one idea at a time.

Strategic thinking

Analyzing data and critical thinking

Leadership requires diving deep into data to spot challenges, uncover opportunities, and reveal trends. We take insights and turn them into practical actions. By gathering wisdom from diverse sources and taking a broad view, we can foresee what's ahead. We're not just crunching numbers; we’re transforming the way we think.

Decision making

Get ready for real-world decision-making: carefully analyze information, solve problems, and weigh the risks and benefits of each option. It's not just about making decisions; it's about putting those decisions into action—efficiently, adaptably, and with an eye on the future.

Understanding the business

Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s business model and processes. Immerse yourself in our industry, learn the nuances of your field, and gain a clear picture of how decisions shape the bigger picture. Here, knowledge is more than power—it's the compass guiding us to excellence.

Having vision

Ignite your vision for the future by not only recognizing opportunities but also imagining extraordinary possibilities. Keep a clear picture of what can be achieved and turn dreams into a practical roadmap for success. In this world of foresight, we're not just dreaming—we're actively crafting the future.

Innovative thinking and continuous development

Innovate continuously

Embrace a constant influx of new ideas, experiences, and opportunities. Lead the charge in initiating effective changes that improve our processes. Use external benchmarking to drive innovation and apply knowledge. Creativity and unconventional thinking are the engines that drive continuous improvement.

Creativity

Developing solutions that align precisely with the needs of stakeholders—whether they’re colleagues, clients, or partners. Embrace creativity to generate original ideas and approach problems with innovative strategies that meet practical needs.

Improving continuously

Cultivate a culture of constant improvement by fostering a mindset of lifelong learning and unquenchable curiosity. Challenge the status quo, explore new possibilities, and uncover fresh opportunities for enhancement. Improvement becomes a natural part of our everyday work.
